18 Again is a South Korean television show based on Jason Filardi’s 2009 film 17 Again. It aired on JTBC every Monday and Tuesday at 21:35 from September 21 to November 10, 2020, and starred Kim Ha-neul, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Lee Do-hyun. The series is accessible with multi-language subtitles on Netflix, iQIYI, and Viu. Hong Dae-young and Jung Da-jung are married and have fraternal twins, Hong Si-a and Hong Si-u. Despite having children at an early age and facing financial difficulties, they appear to have a wonderfully happy marriage at first.

Dae would just have to reach the same conclusion he did eighteen years earlier. He must once again choose between his family and his goals. He was given a second chance at life by the old man. He would have stayed the same if he had opted to play the game and accept the scout’s offer. Most likely, he would have continued to play basketball and pursue his goal. That, however, did not occur. Instead, he learned the importance of thankfulness. He was given a second chance to be there for his family, and he took advantage of it. He’s learned from his mistakes in the past and now aspires to be a fantastic father and husband.
His action also resulted in his reverting to his former self. Dae-young prioritized his family over his dreams, striving to be the father and husband he desired. He has always been a wonderful person, but he became emotionally distant and absent over time. He had lost his ability to listen and respect his family. But he now has a clear idea of what he wants to do. He can’t keep going the parallel life now that he knows to reunite his family for good.

Is There A Satisfying Conclusion To 18 Once More?
Dae-young claims that his life would be complete if their narrative ended there. But time passes, and he and Da-jung occasionally quarrel. They even have days when they despise each other, but those days now make them better understand and love each other, and they’re happier as a result.
Is There A Season 2 In The Works?
It’s difficult to say when the sequel will air because there’s no official announcement from the show’s creators, Netflix, or JTBC. There have been reports floating around the internet that the release date for 18 Again Season 2 will be in 2022. The show’s screenplay, production, and post-production will all take at least a year, and it will be ready to air later next year. If the epidemic does not affect the shootings, the following season should be ready in no time. However, until the producers issue an official statement, the report’s reliability remains in question.
