Will Da Hyun be able to defend herself from Young Hoon?
Gye Hoon is devastated to learn that despite pleading for help in her final moments, his sister didn’t receive it. Da Hyun experiences an odd emotion that she also had when she witnessed Gye Hoon sobbing or having problems. Gye Hoon accepts Da Hyun’s offer to end their relationship after she calls and meets with him. He has closed his eatery and packed away his belongings. Da Hyun hardly recognizes him any longer, but since she learned that Gye Hoon is capable of sensing her feelings, she has made an effort to be upbeat so that Gye Hoon won’t feel bad because of her.
Han Se Jin’s resignation letter was discarded by Officer Min Jo’s employer. She is unsure of the specifics of what transpired in the past, but her supervisor erred in accusing Se Jin’s father once more. She needs to persuade Se Jin to return right away so she can teach him the importance of knowing when to back off. He must return to the office and complete his work if he hopes to find the genuine offender. Se Jin asks his employer to accept his rejoinder and accept his resignation. He quickly gets to work on the case, but his employer is concerned because he hasn’t been able to reach Jung Ho in two days. He nonetheless provides Se Jin and Min Jo assistance. Their employer recalls seeing Jin Geung with Young Hoon, therefore they are attempting to determine who Jin Geung met before going missing.
Da Hyun visits an arcade to play games by himself since she still misses Gye Hoon. At a hut, she also consumes soju and udon by herself. Gye Hoon desired for her to share in these experiences, but she is now forced to go through them alone. Da Hyun is offered a ride back home by Cho Young Hoon when he makes a stop at the shack to deliver the fish. She had turned down his offer since she had doubts about him. She recognizes him from the childhood incident, but she acts as if she doesn’t remember anything. Young Hoon, however, picks up on this and begins to follow her. When she tries to phone the cops, her mother calls and breaks up her flow. Da Hyun drops her phone as she takes off sprinting. Gye Hoon experiences a terrifying feeling and is forced to stop ignoring Da Hyun.
Da Hyun is nowhere to be found despite Gye Hoon’s efforts to locate her in her library and other surrounding locations. When he arrives at the shack where she ate, the proprietor informs him that she went to the area being developed. As soon as Gye Hoon discovers Da Hyun’s cell phone in an alley, he phones Se Jin. Young Hoon overhears the proprietor of the little shop calling the police while Da Hyun, who has found refuge there, is being sought after by the authorities. Gye Hoon grabs Da Hyun from behind as he prepares to stab him and beats him. Young Hoon tries to kill both of them after seriously injuring Da Hyun, but Se Jin stops him in time and takes him into custody.
Da Hyun refuses to stop chatting to Gye Hoon despite being transported to the hospital. She has to share with him something significant that she has kept in mind. Gye Young had obtained a commitment from Da Hyun that she would send him a message if Gye Young was unable to locate his brother and Da Hyun was successful in escaping. After 18 years, Da Hyun must fulfill her pledge and deliver the message. Gye Young wanted to remind Gye Hoon that he shouldn’t be sobbing and to make a commitment to never cry again because it wasn’t his fault that she got missing.

Link: Eat Love Kill’s Ending Explained
The remains of Gye Young’s sister are discovered by Jung Ho, but there are also the remains of another person, who is later identified as Gye Hoon’s father. Gye Hoon and his mother conduct a funeral for them in order to bring an end to their suffering. His mother acknowledges to him that she had not been acting sanely but promised to start therapy and take medication to improve him. Da Hyun is currently employed as the manager of Gye Hoon’s restaurant, which has been performing well. Han Se Jin makes amends with both his father and Min Jo. Additionally, they now have a young family of their own. The Jihwa-dong area is now peaceful again following the 18-year hunt for the serial killer.
The cheerful conclusion of “Link: Eat Love Kill” saw everyone get their much-deserved bliss. Gye Young, who fervently want to communicate with her brother through Da Hyun, was the catalyst for the relationship to develop between Da Hyun and Gye Hoon. The link was terminated once Da Hyun successfully handed it to Gye Hoon. Even though the series was able to maintain the suspense to the very end, the plot unraveled at the climax. Unconvincing choices are made by the characters at times, and Gye Hoon locates Da Hyun by sensing her feelings. However, this series is excellent for binge-watching because it contains an equal amount of romance, mystery, fantasy, and drama.
