No One Gets Out Alive: Ending Explanation

Ambar begins to dream of her mother on her deathbed, as a thing comes from the box and takes Ambar’s head in its hands, attempting to read her mind and understand what Ambar has sacrificed. Ambar strangles her mother in the dream, whose eyes and hands had mutated into the creature’s.

This causes the monster, the Aztec goddess tzppltl (God of Paradise made possible via sacrifice), to accept the sacrifice and retreat inside the box, which is related with the moth shown in the movie (Rothschildia erycina). Ambar hears Becker and Red getting ready to sacrifice the last girl. Becker finds that he isn’t getting better.

Ambar takes a macuahuitl from the study and heads upstairs, injuring Red before being attacked by Becker. The Romanian woman tries to assist, but he throws her over the balcony and kills her. Becker chokes Ambar, but she slices his carotid artery and smashes his head with the macuahuitl’s obsidian blade.

She hears Red stumbling around in the next room and manages to get him downstairs and bind him to the stone table, where she watches the monster rip his head off. Her ankle, which had been broken by Becker earlier, instantly heals as she leaves the house, as she had sacrificed Red to the monster. Red appears as a ghost in the background.

Is There Going To Be A Sequel To No One Gets Out Alive?

We have no idea right now! Given that No One Gets Out Alive was only launched on September 29, it’s hardly surprising that there is currently no word regarding a sequel. Netflix usually takes about a month — but sometimes much longer — to announce whether or not a sequel will be made.

No One Gets Out Alive

So keep tuned for more formal announcements in the coming weeks!

Given that the majority of reviews for the scary picture — directed by Santiago Menghini, who made his feature-film debut with this film — were positive, and the film’s ending was somewhat unclear, there’s a good chance that the horror will be picked up for a sequel.

Netflix, on the other hand, has a history of focusing on new projects rather than adding to existing films, so it’s all up in the air right now. Nonetheless, we believe that No One Gets Out Alive 2 has a shot. We all believe it will be released in 2023.
