Diwali bonus: The employees of the central government received a sizable present before Diwali. This Diwali, the federal government will provide bonuses to its workers. The Ministry of Finance will award non-productivity-linked bonuses to the Center’s staff. In this bonus, employees will receive money based on their 30-day wage.

These workers will profit from bonuses

Employees in the central government who fall under the Group B and Group C categories are included on the bonus list. Other than personnel in the Group B and Group C categories, non-gazetted officers will also be eligible for this award. Additionally, the staff of the central paramilitary forces will also receive the benefit of this incentive. Additionally, temporary workers will profit from this as well.

These workers will also receive bonuses

This personnel will be handled as a special case if they have been out of service, have resigned, or have retired on or before March 31, 2022. According to this, workers who illegally retired or passed away on account of illness before March 31 but put in six months of regular work in a fiscal year will be eligible for an ad-hoc bonus.

The minimum wage was also raised by the Delhi government

Before Diwali, there is also good news for Delhi government employees. The pay of Delhi’s employees has improved during the Kejriwal administration. The Delhi government has raised the minimum salaries for unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled workers in advance of Diwali. Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister, claimed that this will relieve him of the inflation. Beginning on October 1, the revised monthly wage will be in effect.

Rs 20,357 as the minimum salary for skilled personnel

The Delhi government said that the wages for unskilled workers would be increased from Rs 16,506 to Rs 16,792, those for semi-skilled workers from Rs 18,187 to Rs 18,499, and those for skilled workers from Rs 20,019 to Rs 20,357.
