Alba August, Lucas Lynggaard Tnnesen, Mikkel Flsgaard, Lukas Lkken, Jessica Dinnage, Sonny Lindberg, and Angela Bundalovic star in the series, which also features Lars Simonsen, Bertil De Lorenhmad, Evin Ahmad, and Johannes Bah Kuhnke. In the second season, the latter two become main characters.
Netflix renewed The Rain for a second season on May 30, 2018, which premiered on May 17, 2019, with six episodes.
The sitcom was renewed for a third and final season in June 2019, with the premiere date set for August 6, 2020.

There is no information about The Rain season 4 release date because Netflix has already confirmed it through a Twitter post. However, if a miracle occurs and Netflix decides to renew the series, we may expect the next chapter to arrive in 2022.
