Jo Byung-gyu, Yoo Jun-sang, Kim Se-jeong, and Yeom Hye-ran star in the South Korean television series The Uncanny Counter. It revolves around the titular character So Mun, a high school student with a disability who is enlisted to join the Counters, a group of paranormal-hunters who search for and fight evil spirits who have escaped from the afterlife to prey on humans. It is based on the Daum webtoon Amazing Rumor by Jang Yi.
The first season aired 16 episodes on OCN every Saturday and Sunday at 22.30 (KST) from November 28, 2020 to January 24, 2021. Following their debut on television, each episode was published on Netflix in South Korea and globally. The show was the highest-rated OCN show to date. The show has been renewed for a second season.
The Uncanny Counter: The Conclusion
The Counters are told by Yung that they must tour the country and bring down more bad spirits. They don’t think it’s a good idea. Wi-gen maintains that they will make every effort to hire more Counters.
Choi shows up with new clothes for the work while on the road trip, making them look more professional. They’re now fully clothed, and the next scenes depict their new appearance as they battle new bad spirits. I wouldn’t mind if they made a second season because it was a fantastic conclusion to a fantastic series. However, I think here is the best place to end it.
The Uncanny Counter episode 16 is an emotional rollercoaster, providing the viewers one final showdown and decisive scenes – this is a very well ending towards the k-drama drama.
