The television series Van Helsing is a fantasy horror drama. The series, which was inspired by Zenescope Entertainment’s comic novel title Helsing, stars Kelly Overton as the eponymous character. On July 31, 2016, Syfy aired a commercial-free advance preview of the pilot ahead of its September 23, 2016 launch.
Syfy renewed the series for a fifth and final season in December 2019, which will premiere on April 16, 2021, and end on June 25, 2021. This season is the series’ final season.

Van Helsing Season 5: Casting Details
The main character in Van Helsing season 5 is Kelly Overton, who plays Vanessa Van Helsing. Jonathan Scarfe, Aleks Paunovic, Rukiya Bernard, Christopher Heyerdahl, Jennifer Cheon Garcia, Jesse Stanley, and Trezzo Mahoror are among the remarkable people who make up the cast of the show’s last episode.
In the previous season, Vanessa travels east to Denver, Colorado, where she meets her long-lost sister Scarlett, who has been trained to kill vampires since infancy. The Elders, the original vampires, are hunted by Vanessa and Scarlett in the third season in order to finally defeat them.
Following Vanessa’s apparent death in the fourth season, the series shifts its focus to Violet and Jack, Vanessa’s long-lost biological daughters, as they battle a new “daywalker” breed of vampires, as well as the “Dark One” and ruler of the vampire species, Countess Olivia von Dracula and her brides, a former countess of Transylvania and de-facto President of the United States.

The story of Van Helsing Season 5 takes place in a near-future post-apocalyptic world. Vanessa Van Helsing, a descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, awakens from a coma three years after an explosion of the Yellowstone Caldera coated the planet in ash, cutting out sunlight and allowing vampires to dominate humanity, and finds herself in a post-apocalyptic world.
Her special blood composition allows her to transform vampires back into humans, becoming her humanity’s only hope. Vanessa is a prime target for the vampires now that she has this secret weapon. She is guarded by a Marine assigned to her safety and the doctor who saved her in order for her to spearhead a resistance against the vampires who plague the world’s surviving.
