Wrong Turn: Ending Explanation
Ruthie stabs Adam in the leg with a hidden blade; he is then killed in front of his companions by Venable, who beats him to death with the log he used to murder Samuel.
Venable blinds Luis with a hot poker when he tries to flee. Jen begs Venable for forgiveness. Venable accepts the invitation, and she and Darius are welcomed into the community. Jen agrees to be Venable’s sexual partner despite her reservations.
Scott hires a local tracker to accompany him into the woods. Scott reaches the town after the tracker and his kid are slain by a trap, but he is arrested. Jen, now married to Venable, uses an arrow to kill her father.
Scott is sentenced to “darkness” and imprisoned by Venable for trespassing. Jen releases her father that night, confessing she simply shot him to avoid suspicion. She tries to persuade Darius to flee with her and Scott, but he refuses. Before Venable and the other cultists chase them, Ruthie assists them in escaping.
They come across a tunnel filled of blinded and shambling inmates, including Luis. Jen, out of mercy, kills him, and she and Scott flee, murdering other cultists, including Edith. They come across Nate and other armed townspeople who offer assistance. Cultists attack them, injuring Jen, but Scott and Jen manage to flee.
Jen and her father have resumed their normal lives several months later. Jen pays a visit to her stepmother, but she’s busy welcome Venable and Ruthie into the neighborhood.
Venable realizes Jen is pregnant with his child and confronts her. He invites Jen to join him at the Foundation. Jen agrees on the condition that Venable doesn’t bother her family again. She, Venable, and Ruthie get into a camper van and drive away (RV).
Jen causes the RV to crash into a parked automobile as the credits roll. Jen murders the other cultist and stabs Venable to death. She then takes Ruthie’s hand in hers as they return to her family’s house.
